Reflections of a Midnight Moon Organic Cotton Handmade Batik Dress
This beautiful batik dress is completely handmade with soft organic cotton knit fabric. I use organic thread, pure beeswax, and traditional methods for the batik design and colors to create this handmade dress.
The dress features a mild A-line shape, with seams down the side, front, and back. This fabric is pretty soft, but not thin. It stretches gently over the course of the day, but it does not stretch out.
Measurements are taken with the dress laying flat, not stretched. The style is designed to stretch gently, but not stretch out. The style is reversible and can be worn with the batik design on the front or back.
Fabric content is 100% pre-shrunk organic cotton jersey knit. No need to hand wash, pre-soak, or hang dry the batik. Machine wash and tumble dry is recommended. This unique dress was made to last for years, if not decades, with simple care.
The sizing for this batik dress can be considered a Small.
Please note the handmade dresses I design run smaller than the Dharma dresses with the sleeves. The model is a size 4-6, as a reference to fit and design.
Laying flat, measurements are approximately:- 15" across the chest
- 13.5" at the waist and
- 25" skirts out wide at the hem
- 43" from shoulder to the bottom hem
- neckline: 8.5" from top of shoulder to the bottom center of the vneck of the star side, and 8" on the glowing moon side.

🌀 Returns & Exchanges – Batikwalla
I want you to love your handmade batik, but I also run a small art-based business — so here’s how I handle returns and exchanges:
🔁 Returns
I accept returns within 10 days of delivery, but they come with a 20% restocking fee. That covers handling, repacking, re-listing, and the occasional touch-up if needed.
- Email me first before sending anything back: victoria@batikwalla.com
- You must ship it back with tracking
- Garment must be unworn, clean, and in original condition
- Once I receive and inspect it, I’ll refund your payment minus the 20%
💡 Please note: Shipping charges are non-refundable.
🔄 Exchanges
I don’t offer traditional exchanges — I handle them case by case depending on inventory, timing, and the situation.
If something doesn’t work and you’re hoping to switch sizes, please email me with your request. If I can accommodate it, I will. If not, I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Pro tip: My handmade batiks tend to sell out fast. If you’re unsure about sizing, feel free to ask questions before ordering — I’ll always do my best to help you find the right fit.
❌ Final Sale Items
All items in the Sale Basket are final sale — no returns or exchanges. These pieces are sold at a discount for a reason and are clearly marked in the listing.
🛠 Mistakes or Issues
If I shipped you the wrong item or there’s a mistake with your order, I’ll make it right — just email me within 7 days of delivery and include a photo if possible. I’m a real human and I care about your experience.
