cutting out dresses on the living room floor of the house we lived in Arizona, 1993
A self taught seamstress -  this is a rare pic of the early days of cutting from a bolt of cotton fabric for dresses to be sold at the Oregon Country Fair, or maybe at a Grateful Dead parking lot circa 1993-94.  I was 23 years old here, with one of my son's toddling around in the background.

handmade hippie days mid 90's in Fall Creek, Oregon on the side of some cabin.
Hand sewn batik dresses hanging to dry mid-process 1997-98 in Fall Creek, Oregon.  At this particular location, I used a generator to run a washing machine on the front porch.  In this exact spot I later built my first and only wooden deck, then moved to a different cabin on the land.
